Puzzler: “We’re Not Great at Sharing”
Professor Jeff Forrester shares the new puzzler: “My wife and I have a double vanity in our bathroom, and we don’t usually share toiletries. In fact, we each have our own toothpaste, dental floss, and, usually, mouthwash. However, during our last trip for supplies we only purchased one bottle. Now, one of these bottles would typically last me 27 evenings, while she could get 54 nights out of the same container (she always said I had a big mouth!) So, if we continue sharing this bottle until we run out, how many nights before we need to return to the store?”
Listen to the new question at the 2:27 mark.
